Job Overview
The electrical technician at Mazi is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of electrical systems on Mazi motorcycles, battery swapping stations and at Mazi premises. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and installing various electrical components and systems, contributing to the design and development of new products, and maintaining the functionality and safety of all electrical installations.
Importance within the Organization:
The technician plays a critical role in maintaining the reliability and safety of Mazi motorcycles and swapping stations, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and brand reputation. By ensuring that electrical systems are functioning correctly and efficiently, the technician supports the company’s operational goals and contributes to the overall success of Mazi. Additionally, the technician’s involvement in the design and development of new products helps drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization, keeping Mazi at the forefront of the EV industry.
Key responsibilities
1. Troubleshooting Electrical Faults on Mazi Motorcycles
Diagnose and repair wiring and electrical issues on Mazi motorcycles.
Ensure all repairs meet the company’s quality and safety standards.
2. Installation of Electrical Systems
Install and configure systems including swap stations, and wiring, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
Perform regular maintenance and updates on installed systems.
3. Design and Development
Assist in the design and development of new products, focusing on integrating and optimizing electrical components.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve existing electrical designs.
4. On-site and Field Electrical Fault Troubleshooting of Mazi Swapping Stations
Perform troubleshooting of electrical faults at Mazi premises, and attend to all field calls.
Ensure all electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Work with engineers to design and operationalize a maintenance schedule for stations.
5. Management of Electrical Installations
Oversee and manage electrical installations and upgrades of Mazi systems and at Mazi premises.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and safe installation processes.
6. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Report on electrical system performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
7. Compliance and Safety
Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all repair and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for electrical systems.
Maintenance of working space
Qualifications
Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints and electrical schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance regulations.
Required Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Willingness and ability to learn
Having a bike license is a big plus
